Important: Bank holiday closure

The practice will be closed on Monday 31st August for the bank holiday and will reopen on Tuesday 1st September as normal.

If you require urgent medical help during this time, please contact NHS 111 online at 111.nhs.uk or by calling 111. In a life-threatening emergency, always call 999.

For help with minor illnesses and medication queries, please speak to your local pharmacy where available.

Call 999 or go to A&E now if:

  • you or someone you know needs immediate help
  • you have seriously harmed yourself - for example, by taking a drug overdose

A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.

Use NHS 111 if:

  • You need help now, but it's not an emergency

There will be someone to provide you with advice and to direct you to a clinician if it is necessary.

East Brighton Health Hub

The East Brighton Health Hub is a new way for people to access the support that they need.

They run a drop-in service where both NHS and non-NHS staff and experts work together to help you with your health and wellbeing, all in one place, no appointment needed.

It is for people over the age of 18 living in east and central Brighton.

Every Friday at Robert Lodge Community Space, East Brighton Health Hub run a drop-in service between 10am-1pm.

There are a variety of people available to chat to each week including Physios, Money & Benefits Advice, Medication Advice, and Occupational Therapists (please see the calendar which shows who will be present on a specific week).

You don't need to regsiter ahead: just turn up on the day!

Use the NHS App to order prescriptions, manage appointments, view your medical record and access test results.

You need to prove who you are to get full access to the NHS App. With full access you can:

  • order repeat prescriptions and nominate a pharmacy where you would like to collect them
  • book and manage appointments
  • view your GP health record to see information like your allergies and medicines (if your GP has given you access to your detailed medical record, you can also see information like test results)
  • book and manage COVID-19 vaccinations
  • register your organ donation decision
  • choose how the NHS uses your data
  • view your NHS number (find out what your NHS number is)
